Finanze Legacy / Legal
Cookie policy.
How we use Complianz to explain cookies and manage your choices. Last reviewed: 4 October 2026.

1. Cookies and UK rules.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and scripts that store or access information on your device. The UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended, govern that storage and access. Where personal information is processed, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, as amended, also apply.
Consent is required before storage or access unless a specific legal exception applies. Strictly necessary technologies can support a service you request, such as security or remembering your cookie choices. A technology is not exempt simply because it is useful to us. Other statutory exceptions have conditions and do not permit unrestricted tracking or advertising.
2. Complianz and the technologies on this site.
We use Complianz to manage cookie information and choices. The site is hosted on WordPress.com. Hosting, security and administrator login functions may use necessary technologies. Complianz may store your chosen categories and the policy version so that your choices can be remembered. The inventory below provides the cookie and service information held in Complianz, including available purposes and expiry periods.
Optional preference, statistics and marketing technologies require your agreement unless a specific legal exception applies and its conditions are met. Advertising and cross-site tracking are not treated as necessary. Consent to cookies is separate from permission to refer an estate planning enquiry or a request for information about Finanze services.
Cookies may be session cookies, which normally expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain for the stated period unless removed sooner. First-party technologies are set by this site; third-party technologies are associated with another provider. Where a third-party service processes personal information, its privacy information and our Privacy policy explain the relevant responsibilities.
Our enquiry form submits information to WordPress. Its server-side security rate limit is distinct from browser cookies. Following an external link, such as an Amazon book purchase link, takes you to a separate website with its own cookie and privacy arrangements.
3. Your cookie choices.
Use the Complianz controls below, or the site’s cookie preferences control when displayed, to review your choices and change or withdraw consent. You can decline optional categories and still read the site and submit an enquiry. Necessary technologies do not require consent where the relevant legal exception applies. We do not treat silence, scrolling or continued browsing as consent.
Withdrawing consent stops future consent-based use; it does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. You can also delete existing cookies and manage storage through your browser settings. Clearing your browser may remove your saved choices and cause the consent controls to appear again. Blocking necessary technologies may affect particular functions. A different browser or device may need its own choices.
4. Personal information and questions.
Finanze Strategy Ltd, trading as Finanze Legacy, operates this website. For information about personal data, lawful bases, recipients, retention, international transfers and your rights, read our Privacy policy. For cookie questions, use or write to Finanze Strategy Ltd, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
We review this policy when the website, its services or applicable rules change. The Complianz inventory depends on the services configured on the site and the results of its scan.
